PERSONAL CONTACT PROGRAMME CDE

The Centre arranges Personal contact programme classes every year for a duration of five days. These contact programmes are meant for counselling and clearing the doubts of the students. Attendance at the Personal Contact Programme is NOT COMPULSORY.

(Common for all Programmes except PGDCA, BCA & MCA)

Graduate Programmes – (Except B.C.A.)

Personal Contact Programme classes will be arranged each year, for a duration of five days at the centres opted by the students. Attendance at the Personal Contact Programme is NOT COMPULSORY.

Students can attend the II & III year PCP classes irrespective of the fact whether they have taken up the I / II year examinations or not and whether they are successful or unsuccessful if appeared for the examination.

Post Graduate Programmes – (Except M.C.A.)

Personal Contact Programme classes will be arranged for the second year as that of the First year for a duration of five days at the centres opted by the students.

Attendance at the Personal Contact Programme is NOT COMPULSORY.

Post Graduate Diploma Programmes – (Except PGDCA)

Personal Contact Programme is NOT COMPULSORY for Post Graduate Diploma students. Classes will be conducted for a duration of five days at the centres opted by the students.

PCP Communication

The Study centres wherein the students are enrolled will send the communication atleast ten days in advance to attend the PCP.

Personal Contact Programme for PGDCA

 There will be TWO Personal Contact Programmes of thirteen days duration each. The Programme would be conducted either continuously or on a staggered basis during the week-ends and Public holidays depending upon the availability of venues and Lab facilities.

The First Contact Programme will be for Paper I to VI and will be arranged before the commencement of the DECEMBER Examination and the Second Contact Programme will be for the rest of the papers and it will be arranged before the commencement of the JUNE Examination. Students have to attend both the programmes COMPULSORILY. The minimum attendance requirement for each PCP is 80 percent.

At the end of the 1st PCP classes, practical examination will be conducted for Paper VI. At the end of the 2nd PCP classes, practical examination will be conducted for Paper XII.

Personal Contact Programme for BCA

Personal Contact Programme will be conducted for a duration of thirteen days every semester either continuously or on a staggered basis during the week-ends and public holidays depending upon the availability of venues and lab facilities. It is a COMPULSORYprogramme. In order to be eligible to sit for the examinations, students have to secure 80% attendance during each semester.

At the end of each of the PCP classes, examinations will be conducted for the Practical subjects as mentioned in the course structure.

PCP Classes for MCA

Personal Contact Programme will be conducted for a duration of thirteen days every semester either continuously or on a staggered basis during the week-ends and public holidays depending upon the availability of venues and lab facilities. It is a COMPULSORYprogramme. In order to be eligible to sit for the examinations, students have to secure 80% attendance during each semester.

At the end of each of the PCP classes, examinations will be conducted for the Practical subjects as mentioned in the course structure.
