NSS UNIT, PRIST DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES BLOOD DONATION CAMP
The NSS Unit of PRIST DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY organized a Blood Donation Camp on 23rd January 2025, in association with THANJAVUR MEDICAL COLLEGE HOSPITAL. The event aimed to promote community service and encourage students to donate blood and save lives.
The camp was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. T.V. Christy and Registrar Dr. M. Abdul Ghani Khan. Dr. Venkata H R D, CEO motivated the volunteers who donate the blood for nobel service. A team of medical professionals from THANJAVUR MEDICAL COLLEGE HOSPITAL collected blood from willing donors.
Over 75 units of blood were collected during the camp, exceeding the expected target. The donors were provided with refreshments and certificates of appreciation.
The Blood Donation Camp was a huge success, thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of the PRIST DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY students. The NSS Unit plans to organize more such events in the future to promote social responsibility and community service.
