The institute was founded in 1985 by Prof. P. Murugesan. It was initially known as the Institute of Computer Science and Technology. Prof. P. Murugesan founded the institute to introduce computer education to the Thanjavur District. In 1988, the institute received affiliation from Bharathidasan University to offer postgraduate diploma programmes in computer applications. Thereafter, it expanded to include an Arts and Science College, a College of Engineering and Technology, a College of Education, a Research Institution, and a Polytechnic College. Today, PRIST commands a massive student base, spread across a whole array of campuses such as Puducherry, Trichy, Kumbakonam, Chennai, and Madurai. The academic research extends right from the school of education up to the level of the Ph.D. Doctoral programmes in a rich array of disciplines such as Engineering, Arts and Sciences, Education, Pharmacy, Management, Law and etc

Our goal is mainly to focus on presenting new findings on the molecular basis of cancer research. This event offers an excellent opportunity for experts in this cancer field to share their knowledge and experience with the global cancer community, gain visibility contribute to advancing cancer control, and recommend the treatment plan. The Cancer 2024 conference provides prospects for researchers and professors to share their speakers and poster presentations. For students and research scholars, there are also options for oral and poster presentations, student delegate participation, and group registrations
